Water pumps were immediately installed to drain the water from the Leela Ground. The effigies were soaked, resulting in losses worth lakhs, but many artisans are busy renovating the effigies: Arjun Kumar

According to Arjun Kumar, President of the world-famous Luv Kush Ram Leela held at the Red Fort Ground, several water pumps were installed to drain the waterlogging in many parts of the Leela Ground due to the heavy rain this morning. After about five hours of hard work, the water was drained from almost the entire ground. Today, the Leela began as usual at the scheduled time of 7:30 pm.

Arjun Kumar admitted that the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnath, which were almost ready at the ground, also suffered significant damage due to the heavy rain, and the organizers suffered losses worth lakhs. However, the artisans present at the ground immediately began repairing the effigies and have now completed a significant portion of the work. As usual, the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnath will be installed at the Leela Ground tomorrow, Wednesday.
