ROAD RAGE - FIRING CASE SOLVED BY THE TEAM OF PS KAMLA MARKET, CENTRAL DISTRICT: TWO BOOKED, ARMS AND VEHICLE USED IN CRIME SEIZED

BRIEF OF INCIDENT:

On 25.07.2025, an incident of firing near Mohalla Nihariyan Chowk, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi was reported at PS Kamla Market. During on spot enquiry one used cartridge and one bullet head were recovered, the victim stated that when he was going to his in?laws’ house with his wife and children on a motorcycle, two boys on a white Suzuki Burgman scooty obstructed them. When his wife questioned them for not honking, the scooty rider abused them and the pillion rider opened fire before fleeing.

Based on his statement, FIR No.?273/2025 was registered u/s 125/351(1)/126(2)/3(5) BNS & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & OPERATION:

Under the supervision of SHO/Kamla Market, a dedicated team comprising SI Parminder,? SI Deepak, HC Rohit, HC Ankush, HC Pooran, Ct. Amit was formed to trace the accused. The team meticulously scanned CCTV footage from the vicinity, where images of the accused and their scooty were captured. Based on the footage and secret inputs, two suspects were traced and apprehended.

They were identified as Mohd.?Amaan @ Tota, R/o Brahampuri, Delhi, Age:?19?years, and Noman, R/o Brahampuri, Delhi, Age:?19?years. A scooty Suzuki Burgman, white—was recovered from accused Amaan, and one pistol was recovered from accused Noman.
