Pope Francis left this world forever. As soon as this sad news from Vatican City spread around the world, his followers became teary-eyed. The Pope was ill for a long time. Francis was recently admitted to the hospital complaining of pneumonia. The sad news of Pope Francis' death has been given from Vatican City. Pope Francis was 88 years old. A day earlier, he had met US Vice President JD Vance. After the news of his death, 1.4 billion Catholics around the world are in mourning. Pope Francis (born December 17, 1936, Buenos Aires, Argentina) ushered in a new era of leadership in the Roman Catholic Church when he was elected Pope in 2013. As the first Pope from the Western Hemisphere, the first from South America, and the first Pope from the Jesuit order, Francis made many reforms in the church and built a reputation for humility. He was the first Pope to come from Latin America. Pope Francis promoted reforms in the church during his tenure. He was also known for his humanitarian work. His life was an epitome of simplicity, honesty and integrity. Many people are calling his demise the end of an era.
