Birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir Swami celebrated with joy

2550th Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir Swami was celebrated with great pomp in Jhaknawada city.

On this occasion, people of the entire Jain community took out a Prabhat Ferry from the local Terapanth Sabha Bhawan premises, carrying pictures and Jain flags in their hands while chanting the praises of Lord Mahavir Swami. The Prabhat Ferry reached the local Shri Kesariyanath temple via Sadar Bazar, Mistri Mohalla, Soni Mohalla where the community members performed collective aarti of Lord Shri Adinath, Mangaldevo, Rajendra Suri Ji and Shri Nakoda Bhairav ??Ji. And congratulated each other on the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir. On this occasion, Shetanmal Kumat distributed water pots for birds in the memory of his late mother Manakbai-Tejmalji Kumat. Along with this, he appealed that you should go to your terrace and keep water and grains for the mute birds in this water pot every day.
