They are setting an example in every field. Progress of the nation is possible only through women empowerment. The above thoughts were expressed by the founder president of the local Jain social group Sangini Maitri, Mrs. Shweta Katkani, in the program organized by Sangini Maitri Group on International Women's Day.

On this occasion, the president of the group, Mrs. Reena Mutha, while extending heartfelt wishes of Women's Day to everyone on behalf of the group, said that this day is celebrated with the purpose of giving respect to women in the society and making them aware of their rights. This day is an opportunity to express gratitude to every woman who plays an important role in our lives.

On this dignified occasion of Women's Day, various financial assistance was provided to financially weak women by the Mahila Mandal. On this occasion, a one-day Jain pilgrimage Mohankheda Darshan Yatra was also taken out by the group in which hundreds of cows living in the Gaushala located in Mohankheda were given fodder, laddus and grains, water for birds, along with various animal welfare works. Before the said dignified day of Women's Day, Mumukshu Harshita Jain was also felicitated by the group family. Sapna Palrecha, Mamta Mandot, Sarita Pitaliya, Sonu Bhandari, Alpana Patwa, Amita Bhandari, Madhu Bhandari associated with the club and all the officers and members of the group were specially present in the various programs organized on the occasion of Women's Day.
