In the occasion of Holi, Prestige Management and Research Institute Gwalior organized “Holi Ke Rang, Swaad Ke Sang” Indian Traditional Food and Decor. The objective of this program was to create awareness about the importance of colors and traditional Holi dishes on the occasion of Holi.
The Director of the Institute, Dr. Nishant Joshi said that Holi is not only a festival of colors but is a symbol of new energy. Awareness towards startups is very important so that students can generate sufficient means of employment by practicing in this way. Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior keeps organizing such competitions for the development of students.
The Co-Director of the Institute, Dr. Tarika Singh Sikarwar said that various types of competitions have been organized from time to time in the institute in which efforts are made to mold the students according to the coming future.
50 participants from 10 teams participated in the program. During this competition, students set up different food stalls in the campus of the institute and goods worth more than Rs. 22000 were sold and the team that earned more money by selling more goods was given a cash prize of Rs. 1000/-. Other participants were awarded with certificates. Competition winners Vikas Imle, Shobhit Sharma, Chirag Kamra, Manoj Kumar, Manish Sharma were awarded with cash prizes.
The coordinators of this program were Assistant Professor Mayuri Joshi and Assistant Professor Sonam Kushwaha.
