Addressing over 45,000 community members gathered at the Qutbi Masjid premises and other community centres across the city, the Syedna spoke about the enduring connection between his predecessors and the city of Ahmedabad. He recalled how his revered father and grandfather visited the city over the years and left an indelible mark on the community through their leadership and guidance.
Recalling the great qualities of Syedna Qutbuddin, Syedna Saifuddin spoke in detail about the true meaning of leadership and the sacrifices he made for the sake of the community. The Syedna narrated the incident of the martyrdom of Syedna Qutb Khan Qutbuddin at Karanj on the banks of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad.
