Action taken by Hazira police station against vehicle thieves

A total of 05 motorcycles including 02 Apache, 03 Bullet worth about Rs 09 lakh 95 thousand were seized from the arrested thieves.

Out of the arrested thieves, cases of kidnapping, robbery, attempt to murder, Arms Act are registered against two thieves in district Gholpur.

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh (Bapu Se), effective action is being taken to arrest vehicle thieves by curbing incidents of vehicle theft in all the police station areas of the district. In continuation of the above action, Additional Superintendent of Police City (East/Crime/Traffic) Shri Krishna Lalchandani, IPS has directed the police station in-charge Hajira to disclose the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and recover the stolen goods and develop an informer system to catch the thieves.

As per the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of CSP Maharajpura Inspector Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, a team of police force was deployed by Police Station In-charge Hajira Inspector Shivmangal Singh Sengar to disclose the incidents of vehicle theft in the police station area and catch the vehicle thieves.

Today on 17.12.2024, complainant Milan Narware resident Kanchmil came to the police station and filed a report that this morning my Apache motorcycle was parked on the platform in front of the house, at the same time three boys came on their Bullet motorcycle and were stealing my Apache vehicle by breaking its lock, whom I and the people of the locality have caught the said three thieves. On the complaint of the complainant, the three thieves were taken into custody and a case was registered against them under FIR No. 531/24, Section 303(2) BNS and investigation was taken up.

During the investigation, when the police team asked the names and addresses of the three thieves, the first one said that he was a resident of village Khanpur, Tehsil Badi, District Dholpur, the second one said that he was a resident of village Maharajpura, Tehsil Badi, District Dholpur and the third one said that he was a resident of Cheelachod, Tehsil Badi, Police Station Angai, District Dholpur. When the three thieves were questioned about the Bullet motor cycle recovered from them, they admitted to stealing the said motor cycle from Kanchmil Hajira on 16.12.2024.

When the arrested thieves were questioned about other vehicle thefts, they admitted to stealing 02 Bullet and one Apache vehicles from Inderganj police station area. On the identification of the three thieves, two Bullet and one Apache motor cycles were duly seized from under the Sanjay Nagar bridge. A total of 05 stolen motor cycles have been seized from the arrested thieves. The arrested thieves are being questioned in relation to other vehicle thefts. Out of the arrested thieves, a thief resident of village Khanpur Tehsil Badi District Dholpur has earlier been booked for three serious crimes of kidnapping and robbery in different police stations of District Dholpur and a case of attempt to murder and Arms Act is registered against a thief resident of Cheelachod Tehsil Badi Police Station Angai District Dholpur in Police Station Badi District Dholpur.

Recovered goods:-

1. One Bullet motor cycle MP-07-ZL-8439 stolen in crime number 530/24 of Police Station Hazira.

2. One Apache motor cycle MP-07-AZ-1030 stolen in crime number 531/24 of Police Station Hazira.

3. One Apache motor cycle MP-07-AZ-1030 stolen in crime number 531/24 of Police Station Inderganj. One Bullet motorcycle MP-07-ZQ-8477 stolen in case no. 327/24.

4. One Bullet motorcycle MP-07-ZN-5555 stolen in case no. 328/24 of Inderganj police station.

5. One other Apache motorcycle has been seized, information regarding which is being collected. Total 05 motorcycles worth about Rs. 9,95,000/-.

In the above action, police station in-charge Hajira Inspector Shivmangal Singh Sengar, Sub Inspector Harendra Singh Bhadoria, Sub Inspector Sanjesh Bhadoria, PR Umakant Sharma, Anil Gupta, R Ashok Singh Sikarwar, Bhanu Pratap Parihar, Dinesh Tomar, Arun Lodhi, Karan Chaurasia, Shri Krishna Rathore, Rajiv Sharma, Brajkishore Manjhi, Udayveer Gurjar, R Driver Jitendra Jadon, Samarth Singh played a commendable role.
