In protest against the violence, murder and atrocities on women in Manipur, the district youth congress city paid tribute to the people who died in the violence in Manipur at the Gandhi statue.

Youth Congress President Rameez Khan said that it has been 565 days since there has been unrest in Manipur. The country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is silent and Home Minister Amit Shah is maintaining his silence, but when 7 MLAs asked to withdraw support from the BJP government, the government was so worried that it cancelled all the elections in Maharashtra and called a meeting in Delhi. Congress leader Rameez Khan raised the question that is BJP only concerned with the power in Manipur, why are they not paying any attention to the people there. Is the life of the people dying there nothing for the BJP? Why has peace not been restored in Manipur in these 565 days? Rameez Khan said that the youth congress is constantly raising its voice for Manipur.

Due to this, tribute was paid to the deceased at Indore's prominent Regal Square! Youth Congress Assembly 2 President Bobby Bhadoria, Assembly President from Assembly 4 Aman Karode, Kapil Jarwal, Aaqib Ali, Shaz Khan, Akash Nizampurkar, Chetan Sharma, Abhishek Karosia, Anil Marmat, Kratesh Jarwal, Shakir Khan, Maruf Pathan and other youth friends were present in this program. Everyone expressed strong displeasure over why the Modi government is not serious about the peace of Manipur.
