Gulshan Paruthi - Gwalior
The administration has taken a tough stand to prevent commercial misuse of domestic gas. On the instructions of Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan, the Food Department team conducted a raid at Phoolbagh Chowpatty on Saturday. During this, 5 cylinders were seized and a case was registered against 4 establishments under the Essential Commodities Act.
Assistant Food Officer Shri Awadhesh Pandey said that in the action, 2 cylinders were seized from Prince Chinese, and 1 cylinder each from Milan Chinese, King Uncle, and Uncle Corner. All these cylinders have been handed over to Anant Gas Agency.
The administration has warned that the campaign against those using domestic gas for commercial purposes will continue. The purpose of this action is to ensure easy availability of cooking gas to the common citizens and to stop illegal activities.
