Dr. Anupam Kulshreshtha of Police Hospital told the policemen present in the camp that we are not able to take care of our health during our busy duty, due to which we face many health related diseases. This workshop has been organized to tell how we can deal with these problems. Our body works like a machine, just as a machine needs service to work properly, similarly our body needs exercise to stay healthy. Therefore, we should take out some time for ourselves in our daily routine and do exercise. So that we can do our duty while staying healthy.
Dr. Narendra Yadav from the Health Science Department of LNIP told the policemen present in the camp that we need to take a balanced diet to stay healthy. Due to not taking a balanced diet, we are at risk of getting many serious diseases. What kind of balanced diet we should take was explained in detail through the presentation. He told that heart is an important organ in our body. Nowadays even young people are dying due to heart attack, the reason for which is unbalanced diet and bad lifestyle, so our food should be correct and healthy. He said that to stay healthy, we should adopt these three things - balanced diet, physical activity and adequate sleep, only then we will be able to live a healthy life.
Dr. Anurudr Singh Sisodia of LNIP, while discussing the subject of stress management, said that it is necessary for us to be healthy mentally as well as physically. He said that policemen get very stressed during their busy duty, they are not able to pay attention to their health, due to which they feel mentally and physically tired. Which has a bad effect on their health as well as family. For this, to remove ourselves from stress, we should take the help of yoga and meditation, spend as much time as possible with our family and take a balanced diet at the right time.
Apollo Hospital psychiatrist Dr. Mohit Moghe said on the subject of de-addiction that drug addiction is such an evil that destroys our lives. Nowadays even young children are getting caught in the grip of drug addiction. We have to stand against drug addiction and create a drug-free nation. The most important thing for de-addiction is that we ourselves become aware of it and consider it our responsibility to free ourselves and the people around us who are addicted to drugs from this problem. Many times we start drug addiction for fun and gradually it becomes our habit. We are unable to give up drug addiction even if we want to, in this situation we can take the help of a motivational counselor and get ourselves away from drug addiction. We can also give up drug addiction by going towards spirituality. He said that to give up drug addiction we have to be mentally strong, only then we will be able to get rid of it from ourselves. At the end of the camp, he said that yoga, meditation is the cure for all diseases, definitely include it in your daily routine. At the end of the camp, Reserve Inspector Gwalior expressed gratitude on behalf of the police family to all the experts present in the camp for attending the camp and creating awareness about health.
