Delhi Development Authority i.e. DDA XI and MCD XI in North Ground for environmental cleanliness On behalf of DDA, Finance Member Vijay K Singh reached the ground as the chief guest and did the toss and planted trees.
IRS Customs Cricket Team defeated Delhi Police Cricket Team in a friendly match played at Commonwealth Games Cricket Ground under the tenth edition of Yamuna Trophy 2024-25. The toss of the match was done by Delhi Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashwani Kumar and Delhi Police Special Commissioner Neeraj Thakur.
Apart from Ashwani Kumar and Neeraj Thakur and Finance Member of Delhi Development Authority Vijay K Singh, GST Commissioner Shri Sanjay Lavania also planted trees for the purpose of clean environment. MCD Commissioner Ashwani Kumar said that bad environment is the biggest problem of today, for the solution of which we all have to take steps in an organized manner.
Custom XI captain Commissioner Sanjay Lavania won the toss and decided to bat first and gave a target of 113 runs to Delhi Police, but the Delhi Police team could score only 108 runs. The momentum changed during the match when Vikas was out as the first wicket. Sanjay Lavania took a brilliant catch of a high going ball by running backwards, jumping and sliding. Kuldeep of IRS won the title of Man of the Match in the match.DDA XI defeated MCD XI in the league match of Yamuna Trophy.
