JU: Final rehearsal for convocation ceremony.

           JU's convocation ceremony will be organized on 15 October at Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Convention Center. Its final rehearsal was held on Monday before the program. Apart from degree holders and staff, no other person was allowed to go. It was ensured that the protocol was followed. Only degree holders and staff were called for the rehearsal. Degree holders and gold medal holders were told to be present on the day of the ceremony. Information was given about the activities.

           Registrar Arun Singh Chauhan, Vice Chancellor Prof. DN Goswami, Executive Council members, Academic Council members, Dean and Vice Chancellor Prof. Avinash Tiwari were present in the rehearsal of the academic procession. After everyone reached the stage, the tune of the national anthem was played through the band. After this, the program started from the stage.

            During the rehearsal, the protocol was followed under time management. Nalanda University Chancellor Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar will be present as the chief guest in the ceremony. Litterateur and senior doctor Dr. Narendra Nath Laha will be present as the special guest and the ceremony will be presided over by Chancellor and Governor Mangubhai Patel. The convocation address will be given by Vice Chancellor Prof Avinash Tiwari.

Vice Chancellor took stock of the venue:

            On Monday Vice Chancellor Prof. Avinash Tiwari took stock of the preparations for the convocation ceremony and also asked to correct the shortcomings by holding a meeting with the officials. He held a meeting of various committees including the organizing committee, invitation committee, welcome committee, security committee, accommodation committee, refreshment committee, gown committee, gold medal committee, photo and video committee, vehicle committee, control room committee and asked to keep the arrangements perfect. He said that everyone should try to do the best. Regarding the dress, he said that the participants should not face any kind of problem. Dress should be available to the students in an organized and timely manner.

            During this Prof. JN Gautam, Prof. Sanjay Kulshrestha, Prof. SN Mahapatra, Prof. Hemant Sharma, Prof. SK Singh, Prof. Shantidev Sisodia, Prof. Mahendra Gupta, Dr. Manoj Sharma, Dr. Sameer Bhagyawant, Prof. Radha Tomar, Dr. Nimisha Jadoun, Dr. Swarana Parmar, Deputy Registrar Rajiv Mishra, Assistant Registrar Amit Sisodia, Jagpal Singh Yadav were present.

           The final rehearsal was held today before the convocation. The academic procession was carried out. After the academic procession, the preparations of the auditorium were seen. The position of the chair and its category and route were arranged.
