Noida – Delhi Metropolitan Education College, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, organized a grand Diwali festival on its campus, celebrating the festival of lights with great enthusiasm and cultural diversity. Students from various cultural societies participated and enchanted the audience with their extraordinary performances, bringing a vibrant spirit to the festivities.
The event was spearheaded by Professor Dr. Navjot Suri, with the gracious support of College Director Professor Ravi Kant, Justice Bhawar Singh, and Swami Ji. Students showcased their talents in various cultural programs, including dance, singing, theater, and a fashion show, making the Diwali celebration even more memorable and engaging for everyone present.
A special highlight of the festival was the presentation of epic stories from Ramayana, Krishna Leela, and Mahabharata by the students. These performances aimed to connect the younger generation with the profound cultural and spiritual heritage of Hinduism, instilling in them a sense of pride and understanding of their roots and traditions.
Additionally several stalls were set up featuring food items, games, and activities hosted by NGOs, which attracted enthusiastic participation from students. The anchoring of the event was led by Divyanshu Nishana, Rimika Grover, Anantika Kumariya, along with other coordinators, whose captivating presentation style added life and energy to the celebration.
All students thoroughly enjoyed the occasion, which became a true symbol of collective joy and affection. The Diwali festival provided not only a platform for cultural expression but also fostered a spirit of unity, collaboration, and reverence for heritage within the community.
