Indian and Western culture reflected in the cultural evening.

              Gwalior, 26.10.2024: On one hand, folk dances from different provinces of India, steeped in the spirit and tradition of Indian culture, were introducing the antiquity and diversity of Indian culture. On the other hand, western culture was showcased through dance. It would not be wrong to say that the entire cultural program was a confluence of Indian and western culture. The cultural program started with the prayer of Maa Saraswati and lighting of the lamp. Dr. Smita Sahastrabuddhe was present as the chief guest in the cultural program and Mrs. Neetu Mathur was present as the guest of honour. Dr. Smita Sahastrabuddhe, present as the chief guest, was welcomed by Dr. Hariom Awasthi with a bouquet of flowers and the guest of honour Mrs. Neetu Mathur was welcomed by Dr. KK Yadav with a bouquet of flowers.

                  Presiding over the programme, Director, Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Gwalior, Dr. Nishant Joshi said that the Institute has always been striving for all-round development of the students and to fulfil this objective, the Institute's annual festival "Spandan" is organised every year by Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Gwalior. "Spandan" is organised by Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior in accordance with its meaning (beat of the heart) with the objective of encouraging the students and developing the hidden talents in them. The entire atmosphere becomes joyful and invigorating during this festival.

               Dr. Tarika Singh, Deputy Director, Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior, in her welcome address said that the way the students of the college showed team spirit and mutual coordination in organizing all the programs of this cultural evening and various competitions going on for the last four days, has made the closing of Spandan-2024 today a successful and unforgettable moment in the souvenir of Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior, which will always be appreciated.

              The program started with Cultural Coordinator Miss. Kavita Rana presenting the detailed outline of the program in her initial address to all the guests. She informed that in today's cultural evening, Ganesh Vandana, Bhangra, Garba and dance styles representing western culture like Bollywood, Freestyle and Salsa were presented. More than 10 colorful presentations were given in which 10 dance presentations were prominent. In this series, 3 brand ambassador rounds were also organized in which the students of the college walked the ramp wearing Indian, sports and western attire. More than 350 students of the college gave presentations in this cultural evening.

               Dr. Smita Sahastrabuddhe (Vice Chancellor, Rajamansingh Tomar Music and Art University) was present as the chief guest. In her address, Dr. Sahastrabuddhe said that India is a young country and youth is the strength of this country. Along with academic activities, cultural programs have always played an important role in the all-round development of students. All the programs presented by the students today were imbued with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. She also congratulated the students of Prestige Management and Research Institute and wished them a bright future.

             Honorable guest Mrs. Neetu Mathur (CEO Smart City Gwalior), who was specially present in today's program, praised Prestige Management and Research Institute Gwalior and said that Prestige is such an institute which has set a unique example of management in the entire central India as per its name. Today, there are very few educational institutions that are able to organize programs like cultural evening at the college level with such decency and tradition. I congratulate Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior for the efforts being made for the all-round development of their students and wish them a bright future.

          The four-day annual festival Spandan-2024 organized in the premises of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior was concluded with a cultural evening in which mainly the respected intellectuals of Gwalior city were present as guests.

           In the last part of the program, on the occasion of the cultural evening of "Spandan-2024", Coordinator Dr. Sneha Rajput expressed her gratitude and thanked all the respected guests, parents, professors, staff, members, students and media colleagues.
