Collector Neha Meena flagged off the awareness chariot under the Drug Free India Campaign by Prajapati Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in coordination with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. This chariot will spread awareness in more than 650 villages of the district. In the program, Collector Neha Meena was welcomed by the sisters of Brahmakumaris organization by applying tilak and giving a bouquet. In the drug free program, Collector Neha Meena said that the administration is committed to de-addiction in the district and thanks to Jayanti Didi and Jyoti Didi of Brahmakumaris for their efforts for de-addiction. The Collector said that a person involved in drug addiction not only moves towards physical and mental degradation but also harms himself and his family financially. It is the responsibility of the young generation to stay away from drugs and also make their friends and family aware.
Jayanti Didi of Brahma Kumaris organization also encouraged the people present to take a pledge against drug abuse and said that by keeping a feeling of belongingness with the drug addict, he should be made aware about drug abuse. Chief Medical and Health Officer Mr. B.S. Baghel explained about the negative effects of drug abuse on the body. Deputy Director Social Justice Mr. Pankaj Sanwale asked to start awareness about drug abuse from the family and make a determined effort. In the program, Collector Neha Meena observed the exhibition made by Brahma Kumaris organization for de-addiction, and the people present were also explained about the offerings in the symbolic yagya made to give up addictions. Also, the people present participated in the meditation session. They were administered the oath for de-addiction.

The awareness chariot was observed by Collector Neha Meena, in which awareness will be created for drug abuse through film/video on LED screen and through exhibition. During this, all the employees of the Department of Social Justice and Disabled Empowerment, the entire family of Prajapati Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, CHO, students of Government Secondary School Mindal, members of Akhil Samaj Seva Dal, members of Pensioners Association, students of Abdul Kalam University were present.
