Just 100 meters away from Gwalior police station, the miscreants tried to break the HDFC ATM. The security company saw it in the CCTV and informed the police. However, the miscreants fled before the police could reach. The incident took place on Monday night at Kilagate intersection on Kila Road in Gwalior police station area. The case was registered on Tuesday night. After which this incident has become public.
There is an HDFC Bank ATM at Kilagate intersection. On Monday night at around 2 o'clock, the security company in Mumbai saw a masked man entering the ATM. Due to the mask, the company employees became alert and started keeping an eye. Shortly after entering inside, he started breaking the machine. On seeing the youth's action, the company employees informed the Gwalior police about it. On receiving the information, the police became alert and instructed the officers who went out on night patrol to catch the miscreant.
Attempts were made to catch them by setting up checking points
On receiving a message from Mumbai and CCTV footage of the miscreants, the officers and staff posted in the control room immediately provided these footages to the officers who were out on patrol at night. Due to which the police became alert in the entire city and efforts were made to catch the miscreants by setting up checking points at various places. On coming to know about the matter, TI Bahodapur Jitendra Singh Tomar, who were out on patrol, FRV Gwalior, Padav, Hazira mobile reached the spot and on hearing the police siren, the miscreants who were breaking the ATM fled away.
