Gwalior Police's awareness campaign under Main Hoon Abhimanyu.

The women police team went to the school and gave the message to the students to stay away from the evils spread in the society and made them aware of the crimes.

On the instructions of Police Headquarters Bhopal, a ten-day "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign is being run in the entire state from 03.10.2024. The objective of this campaign is to provide a safe environment to women and girls and to develop a sense of sensitivity towards crimes related to women among boys and men in the society. The "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign has been started. In continuation of the instructions of the Police Headquarters, the Gwalior Police is running the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rakesh Kumar Sagar, IPS and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police (Central) Shri Akhilesh Rainwal and Deputy Superintendent of Police (Women Crime Branch) Shri Vijay Singh Tomar.

In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, on the second day of the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign in Gwalior, under the able guidance of Mahila Thana Incharge Inspector Deepti Tomar, a program was organized by the women police team today on 04.10.2024 near the Government Higher Secondary Girls School Loco Railway Station to make school students aware under the campaign. In which Uni. Sweety Rajawat Mahila Thana and Women Security Branch and Nirbhaya Team explained to the school students to stay away from the evils spread in the society and also gave information about the helpline run by the police. Posters related to the campaign were also pasted and distributed by the police team in the school premises. During the program, the women police team made the school students present aware about the prevention of child crime, crime related to women, cyber crime. They were made aware by giving information about the cyber related crimes happening at present like online fraud, fake calls, cyber blackmailing, house arrest etc. In the program, the school students and the staff present were given detailed information related to the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign and were made aware of the objective of the program being run by MP Police. The students present were also made aware of Madhya Pradesh Police's Dial 100/112 service and 1090 Women Helpline, Child Helpline and the students present were told to immediately inform the police in case of any emergency and to take action against anti-social elements, the Nirbhaya Mobile Team of Gwalior Police is continuously patrolling around schools, colleges and coaching institutes in the city.

In the program, Uni. Sweety Rajawat, constables Ankur Sharma, Jeetu Gupta of Mahila Thana and Women Security Branch and PR Geeta Sharma, constable Prem, MR Divya Sharma, MR Shobha Chauhan from Nirbhaya Team, school students and school staff were present.
