Bhopal - Worship of weapons makes us aware of religion, karma and duties. The above thoughts were expressed by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Govind Singh Rajput, on the occasion of Shastra Puja organized in Police Line Sagar on the occasion of Vijayadashami festival.
After performing Shastra Puja in Police Line Sagar as per tradition on the auspicious festival of Vijayadashami, Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that worship of weapons makes us aware of religion, karma and duties. We should worship our weapons and always keep doing our duties and karma. He said that in the modern India and modern Madhya Pradesh of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, work is being done in the direction of providing modern weapons to the police of Madhya Pradesh. Minister Shri Rajput said that today on the occasion of Vijayadashami, we all worship our weapons and vehicles.
This makes us aware of our deeds and duties. Minister Shri Rajput said that today is a day of great pride when this festival is being celebrated by the Madhya Pradesh government on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Goddess Ahilyabai. He said that by worshipping weapons, we get a feeling of devotion and duty. Earlier, the Kshatriyas used to worship weapons, but now people of all societies and classes worship weapons. After the weapon worship, Minister Shri Rajput was saluted by firing in joy by the soldiers.
On this occasion, MP Smt. Lata Wankhede, Collector Sandeep G R, Superintendent of Police Vikas Shahwal, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Uike, Lokesh Sinha, City Superintendent of Police Yash Bijolia, Smt.
