Gwalior Police's "I am Abhimanyu" awareness campaign continues.

Women police team made people aware of social evils under the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign in Durga Puja pandal.

On the instructions of Police Headquarters Bhopal, a ten-day "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign is being run in the entire state from 03.10.2024 to 12.10.2024. The objective of this campaign is to provide a safe environment to women and girls and to develop a sense of sensitivity towards crimes related to women among boys and men in the society. In continuation of the instructions of the Police Headquarters, Gwalior Police is running the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Rakesh Kumar Sagar, IPS and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police (Central) Shri Akhilesh Rainwal and Deputy Superintendent of Police (Women Crime Branch) Shri Vijay Singh Tomar.

In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign in Gwalior, under the able guidance of Mahila Thana Incharge Inspector Deepti Tomar, on 09.10.2024 at night, the women police team led by Sub Inspector Shailaja Singh went to the stop in front of Durga Puja Pandal Laxmibai Park and made the people present in the Durga Puja pandal aware by giving information about insensitivity, conservatism, crimes through social media, de-addiction, illiteracy, dowry demand, gender discrimination, foeticide, good touch, bad touch and eve teasing etc. under the "Main Hoon Abhimanyu" campaign and everyone was told about the utility of Beti Ki Peti and Nirbhaya Mobile and 100 Dial etc. The posters related to the campaign were also pasted and distributed by the women police team at the venue. During the program, the women police team also made the people present aware about the prevention of crimes related to women, cyber crime and they were advised to stay away from the evils spread in the society. In the program, Madhya Pradesh Police's dial 100/112 service and 1090 women helpline, child helpline were also made known and the people present were told to immediately inform the police in case of any emergency.

Sub-inspector Shailaja Singh of Mahila Thana along with Nirbhaya Mobile-02 force's MPR. Sita Sharma, Mahila R. Shobha, M.R. Divya Sharma were present in the program.
