District level Laadli Laxmi Utsav was organized under the Chief Minister Ladli Laxmi Yojana

Under the Chief Minister Ladli Laxmi Yojana, the district level “Laadli Laxmi Utsav” was organized in Ajeevika Bhawan under the chairmanship of Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria and in the presence of Collector Neha Meena.

Laadli Laxmi Yojana was started with the aim of positive thinking towards the birth of a girl child in the state, improving sex ratio, improving the educational level and health status of girls and laying the foundation of their good future. Under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, 77512 girls have been benefited in the district.

Inauguration of the program:-

The Ladli Laxmi festival was inaugurated by the guests by garlanding the picture of Maa Saraswati and lighting the lamp and worshipping the Ladli Laxmis present.

Main program:-

Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria said in her address in the program that the Ladli Laxmi scheme was started with the aim of encouraging positive thinking of educational equality and gender equality among urban and rural girls in the state. The government provides financial assistance to bear the educational expenses of girls from poor families. She said that the Ladli Laxmis present here are hopeful about the future and have a strong will power to be financially self-reliant. She told the Ladli Laxmis to always keep their dreams flying high and keep making continuous efforts and hard work to achieve them. Do not get confused about the goal of your life and seek guidance from elders and teachers. Always respect elders and teachers. Along with education, culture is also important in life, which helps in maintaining a good social fabric. He wished all the Ladli Laxmis present there for their future.

On this occasion, he congratulated Collector Neha Meena for receiving the PM Excellence Award and said that the initiative of Malnutrition Free Jhabua Abhiyan “Moti Aai” has spread across the country. Efforts are on to implement it in the entire state.

Collector Neha Meena told the Ladli Laxmis that it is important in life that you become financially capable and work hard while setting your goal for economic self-reliance. She said that for the future, decide from today where you see yourself in the coming 10 to 15 years. Achieve personal achievements while ensuring your participation in the development of the country and society. She told the parents present to tell the girls the importance of economic independence and always support them to achieve it.

Along with this, the collector congratulated the team of Women and Child Development Department for performing well in the “Moti Aai” campaign under Malnutrition Free Jhabua and achieving glory at the national level. District Program Officer Women and Child Development Department, Shri RS Baghel informed that a total of 77512 girls have been benefited in the district so far. At present, scholarship benefits were provided to 13250 beneficiaries on admission in class 6T, 5040 beneficiaries on admission in class 9th, 1330 beneficiaries on admission in class 11th, 655 on admission in class 12th and 10 Ladli Laxmis on admission in college.

Experiences of Ladli Laxmi:-

During Ladli Laxmi Utsav, Ladli Laxmi of the district, Ms. Anushka Singh Yadav, Ms. Divyangana Sharma and other girls appeared on the stage and shared their experiences.

Self-defense demonstration:-

In the Ladli Laxmi festival, girl Iti Shrivastava and boy Ajay Dewal demonstrated self-defense techniques and told that by getting self-defense training, one can save oneself in a dangerous situation.

Certificate distribution:-

Certificates were distributed to the Ladli Laxmi girls by the guests as a mark of respect. During this, Assistant Director Mabadi Shri Ajay Chauhan, CDPO Mrs. Priyanka Bunkar, Jimmy Nirmal, Women and Child Development staff, Ladli Laxmi and their parents were present.
