Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior celebrated N.S.S. Day with great pomp in the campus of the institute today on 24.09.2024.

N.S.S. Day is celebrated every year on 24 September and its main function and objective is to provide experience to young students to develop their personality through community service. This time the theme of N.S.S. is Plastic Free India, which the Prime Minister of our country has tried to fulfill through Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan. Institute Director Dr. Nishant Joshi told that National Service Scheme develops the personality of the students in an all-round way and along with character building, makes them aware for national service and he also told that our Prestige Institute's N.S.S. The unit is working towards fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a clean India. The co-director of the institute, Dr. Tarika Singh Sikarwar, told that many activities were conducted in our institute on this day and all the volunteers work for the benefit of the society along with the people of the society. She also told that we are working towards making our college plastic free through the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan.

On the occasion of NSS Day, the NSS unit of Prestige also started a plastic free campaign in the college under the NSS song, NSS clapping and NSS lecture and collected plastic. More than 80 volunteers of the NSS unit were present in this. This program was conducted by the program officer of the NSS unit of Prestige Institute, Abil Hussain. During the program, NSS volunteers were present. Other program officer of the event, Tanya Madhur was also present.
