Rotary Club Apna Meghnagar and Jeevan Jyoti Hospital Meghnagar celebrated Old Age Day in a different way by organizing a free eye and health checkup camp.

A one-day free eye health checkup camp was organized in Jeevan Jyoti Hospital under the joint aegis of Rotary Club Apna Meghnagar and Jeevan Jyoti Hospital Meghnagar. This camp was inaugurated by the elderly people of Meghnagar.

The chief guest of the program, Pandit Ramchandra Sharma, the chief priest of Meghnagar Shri Ganesh Temple, social worker Yashwant Kataria, Vinay Kumar Garg, offered flowers to the idol of Lord Ganesha and lit the lamp and inaugurated the camp with mantras. On this occasion, the President of Rotary Club Apna, Mahendra Singh Solanki, Kamlesh Garwal, Director of Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, Father Thomas welcomed the guests by garlanding them. The welcome speech was given by the President Mahendra Singh Solanki and while giving detailed information about the camp, Father Thomas, Director of Jeevan Jyoti, said that Old Age Day has great importance.

Under the aegis of Rotary Club and Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, examination and diagnosis of eye and bone diseases will be done and as far as possible medicines and spectacles will be provided and in future also apart from the camp, if elderly people face any kind of health related problem, then as far as possible treatment will be provided through Rotary Club. Yashwant Kataria, who participated as guest, said in his address that no one is unaware of the services of Rotary Club; everyone knows that if anyone is giving services of education and health in the city, then Rotary Club and Jeevan Jyoti Hospital also never lag behind in giving their services; I thank both these organizations very much.

We salute your selfless services from our hearts. Along with the elderly, all human beings are served through you. Children, old people, every sad person is served through you. Rotary Club has also won the trust of the people of the city and every last person of the city has this belief that if we contact the Rotary Club, our problem will be solved. This is very commendable work done by Rotary. I once again thank all the members of Rotary Club very much. Guests of the program Pandit Ramchandra Sharma and Vinod Kumar Garg also praised the work of Rotary Club and thanked both the organizations from their hearts. Yashwant Kataria, who attended this program, was pleased with the services being given by Rotary Club and donated a contribution of ? 5000. For this, Rotary Club President Mahendra Singh Solanki thanked them from his heart. While giving information, Bharat Mistry, Founder President of Rotary Club Apna, said that in this camp, eye specialist of Jeevan Jyoti, Dr. Ishwar Patidar, orthopedic specialist Divyanshu Patel, Dr. Sakshi Singh, Zainab Chokhwada Wala (Optometrist), Nayandeep Bharpoda (Optometrist), Ritesh Kumar (Optometrist), Nutan Kujur, Balwant, Mrs. Parvati, Rishika, Sumitra etc. provided their services.
A total of 56 patients were examined in the camp. Patients of eye and bone diseases came out of which 6 were selected for cataract operation. 8 people were given spectacles. X-rays of two people were done at Jeevan Jyoti Hospital at 50% discount. Also, all the patients were given medicines free of cost. Rotarian Mangilal Nayak, Kantilal Neema, Vice President of Rotary Club Maya Sharma, Kusum Solanki, Journalist Rahim Shairani, Farooq Shairani etc. were present in the above program.

The program was conducted by Bharat Mistry and thanks were expressed by Kamlesh Garwal.
