Gwalior IG Arvind Saxena conducted a surprise inspection of Dabra City Police Station, in which the arrangements of the police station were thoroughly examined. During the inspection, the IG examined the criminal cell, Malkhana, record room CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems) and Rojnamcha in detail. He found that there was a dire need to improve all the arrangements and directed to improve the operating system of the police station.
Displeasure over criminal record board
IG Saxena's attention went to the criminal record board, which was installed today. The board was small and the IG expressed displeasure seeing the criminal record written on it in fine letters. He directed that the board be made bigger and the letters be kept clear and readable, so that information about the criminals can be easily seen and understood.
Disorder in Malkhana and Record Room
The IG also made strict comments on the disorganization of Malkhana and the Record Room. He instructed that all items should be properly maintained and documents should be updated, so that information about any criminal case can be easily obtained.
Instructions to improve the CCTNS system
IG Saxena, while reviewing the CCTNS system, expressed the need to make it more effective. He instructed the officers to properly update the tracking of criminals and criminal records so that no information remains unavailable.
Review of diary and communication with constables
While reviewing the diary, the IG found that it also needs improvement. He instructed the officers to update it regularly. After this, IG Saxena communicated with all the constables and listened to their problems. He advised the policemen to be more dedicated and vigilant towards work so that law and order can be strengthened further.
Instructions for overall improvement
IG Arvind Saxena, after his inspection, clarified that there is a need for improvement in the police station and instructed all the responsible policemen to discharge their duties properly. He said that the priority of the police should be the safety of the public and control of crimes, and for this, it is necessary that the arrangements of the police station should be completely in order.
During the inspection, Gwalior in-charge SP Rakesh Kumar Sagar, Additional SP Rural Niranjan Sharma, SDOP Dabra Vivek Sharma, City Inspector City Police Station in-charge Yashwant Goyal and the entire police force were present.
