Indore Police is continuously organizing various programs to curb cyber crimes and to create awareness among people about it. In this sequence, on 07.09.24, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Indore reached SICA College Nipania Indore with the police team and made the students aware about cyber crimes.
In a program organized in the campus of SICA College under Cyber ??Awareness, Additional DCP Crime Mr. Rajesh Dandotia, while telling about 350 students in the 289th workshop about the types of current cyber crimes and ways to avoid them, gave them information about different types of cyber frauds, financial frauds, frauds done by e-commerce websites, fake loan apps and tempting offers of investment etc., digital arrests and various cyber crimes committed on social media, based on the case study of complaints of cyber crimes received by the police and explained practically how to complain on helpline-1930, cybercime.gov.in and Indore Police's cyber helpline 7049124445 etc. in case of cyber crime and how the police takes action on them and what things to keep in mind to avoid cyber crimes etc.
