Curtain Raising and Idol Revealing of the 8th Grand Vighnaharta Ganpati Puja Mahotsav on Ganesh Chaturthi*

September 7, 2024 – The 8th Grand Vighnaharta Ganpati Puja Mahotsav, held at the DDA Ground in Burari, Delhi, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with grandeur and spiritual fervor. The event commenced with the curtain raising and idol revealing ceremony from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, attended by esteemed dignitaries including Honorable MP Manoj Tiwari, Chairman Rakesh Bindal, Vice Chairman Satyabhushan Jain, Event Head Pradip Kumar Agarwal, Chief Sponsor Dharmpal Singhla, and Chief Secretary Anil Wadhwa.
Following the unveiling of the Ganpati idol, Shri Bageshwar Dham Sarkar led a spiritually invigorating discourse known as Hanumant Katha, which captivated the audience from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The celebrations continued with an energetic live performance by Crazy Hoppers from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, infusing the atmosphere with music and joy. The event’s spiritual ambiance was further enhanced by Ras Rajji Maharaj's performance from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, providing a serene and reflective conclusion to the day's festivities.
The 8th Grand Vighnaharta Ganpati Puja Mahotsav now embarks on a ten-day celebration from September 7th to 16th, offering an immersive experience of devotion and cultural enrichment.
The festivities, held at the DDA Ground, Burari, Delhi, will continue with a series of spiritually significant activities. Shri Bageshwar Dham Sarkar will lead daily spiritual discourses and cultural events from September 7th to 11th, starting at 3:00 PM each day. Highlights include a captivating live performance of Ramleela on September 10th, beginning at 9:00 PM.
From September 12th to 16th, the atmosphere will be enriched by Shri Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj, who will conduct Ram Katha and additional spiritual discourses. The event will also feature Bollywood Nights on September 12th, 14th, and 15th, with Bollywood celebrities attending to add glamour to the festivities.
The Grand Vighnaharta Ganpati Puja Mahotsav aims to bring the essence of Mumbai's Lalbaug Ka Raja to Delhi, blending deep devotion with vibrant cultural celebrations. Devotees and spiritual seekers are invited to join in this grand celebration and partake in a unique spiritual journey.
