Fast repair of power fault in pouring rain.

Due to heavy rains in the city on Sunday afternoon and bad weather, power supply was affected at different times on 26 feeders of 11 KV out of 530 feeders of Indore city circle. But fast repair of fault was done even in pouring rain. The supply of 10 feeders was kept closed for a few minutes due to security reasons. Supply was obstructed due to trees and big branches falling on the lines at 9 places. Wires and cables broke at 3 places. The power supply system of most of the affected areas was restored in one hour to a maximum of three hours. During this time 250 employees and officers were on duty. Zone teams resolved more than 600 individual complaints of Fuse of Call (FOC). A big branch of a tree fell on the transformer in Sanjana Park of Goyal Nagar Zone, power repair work was completed in pouring rain and supply was made normal.

Similarly, on receiving complaints of power failure in Azadnagar, Murai Mohalla, the power supply was immediately restored. Even at 7:30 pm, 100 workers were busy repairing the power lines and power supply.
