A reward of Rs 10,000 will be given on the arrest of absconding accused in crimes related to women, blind murder and serious crimes: SP Gwalior.
Today, the Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sagar (Bapuse) held a meeting of all the gazetted officers of the Gwalior district in the Police Control Room Auditorium. At the beginning of the meeting, Superintendent of Police Gwalior introduced himself to the gazetted police officers present and obtained information about the police stations and crimes of their section. On this occasion, he told the gazetted officers present that the police should pay special attention to crime control along with their basic policing and women-related and other serious pending crimes should be resolved within the time limit. Instructed the officers present for immediate arrest of absconding accused in serious crimes. On this occasion, he said that along with the registration of crime, attention should also be paid to its disposal and efforts should be made to dispose of pending crimes within the time limit. In the meeting, he also took information regarding law and order on the upcoming festival, city traffic system and pending CM helpline. Additional Superintendent of Police (East/Traffic/Crime) Mr. Shiaz K.M. (Bapu Se), Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Mr. Gajendra Singh Vardhman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Mr. Niranjan Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police (Central) Mr. Akhilesh Rainwal along with all CSPs and SDOPs were present in the crime review meeting.
In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Gwalior obtained information from the officers present regarding the law and order situation on the upcoming festivals and said that on the occasion of festivals, special vigilance should be taken in the police station area and contact should be maintained with the organizers by holding a meeting at the police station level and a constable should be deployed for the security of the pandals to be set up for Ganesh Utsav. In the meeting, he said that gazetted officers should themselves review the cases of unnecessarily pending crimes related to women and serious crimes and effective efforts should be made to trace the absconding accused in 173(8) cases and arrest them. In the meeting, the Superintendent of Police in charge said that no negligence should be done in registering the crime and as soon as information is received, the crime should be registered and legal action should be taken. Superintendent of Police Gwalior directed all gazetted officers to regularly review the pending crimes in their subordinate police stations and try to resolve them quickly.
In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Gwalior said that strict action will be taken against the absconding accused in crimes related to women and keeping this in view, a reward of Rs. 10,000 each has also been announced for the arrest of absconding accused in three crimes related to women. Out of the above cases, success has been achieved in arresting an absconding accused of Rs. 10,000 in the crime of POCSO Act of Police Station Tighra. In the meeting, the Superintendent of Police said that effective efforts should be made to arrest the absconding accused in crimes related to women and a reward of Rs. 10,000 will be given for the arrest of absconding accused wanted in crimes related to women, blind murders and serious crimes. On this occasion, he said that 5 points should be identified in each police station and effective checking should be done thereby making A and B categories and checking should be done by making blockade points in the police station area. Police should play an active role in preventing the disputes that take place between the relatives of patients and doctors in hospitals every day. Also, the beat system of the police station should be activated effectively. The jawans who do good work during duty in the district will be rewarded by giving rewards every day. The police officers present were instructed to take bound over action against those who disturb the peace by quarreling among themselves. Apart from this, the concerned were also instructed to maintain the traffic system of the city.
