Underground electricity cable will be installed in Khajrana, Chandan Nagar, Sirpur areas

Indore Tahir Kamal Siddiqui Managing Director Amit Tomar took a meeting on Thursday afternoon to increase the pace of work on the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in Indore city. In this, instructions were given to energize the city’s first grid under RDSS by the end of February, complete the works like additional transformer, cabling etc. on time. During this, it was told that under the said scheme, 6 new power grids of 33/11 KV are being built in the city, this will increase the power distribution capacity by thirty MW. Under ground cable will be installed in areas like Khajrana, Chandan Nagar, Malwa Mill area, Sirpur etc. in the city. This work has already started in Sirpur. On this occasion, Director Puneet Dubey, Chief Engineer SL Karwadia, Girish Vyas, Additional Chief Engineer SC Verma, Superintending Engineer Headquarters RS Tomar, City Superintending Engineer Manoj Sharma, City Executive Engineer Shrikant Barskar, RL Dhakad, Vinay Pratap Singh, DK Tiwari, Yogesh Athnare etc. were present. Managing Director Tomar also spoke directly to other circle officials regarding the progress of RDSS works and gave instructions for progress as per time.
