During vehicle checking, Ujjain police took challan action against e-rickshaw/auto drivers without number plate, helmet, seatbelt, no parking, without uniform and without sufficient documents.

A challan action was taken against a total of 13 drivers and a summon fee of Rs 5300 was deposited in the government treasury.

During checking in city/rural police station areas, action was taken against three accused under minor acts.

During the checking of suspects/goons/history-sheeters/accused in District Badar, restrictive action was taken against a total of 76 non-applicants.

Gulshan Paruthi | Ujjain | To ease the traffic system in the city and to prevent road accidents in the city, vehicle checking was done by Ujjain Police. Vehicle checking is being done regularly by the police team under the leadership of Police Station Traffic Incharge, BDDS and all the police station incharges of the district at different points under the entire police station area of the district. During vehicle checking, challan action of Rs 5,300 was taken against a total of 13 drivers of e-rickshaw/auto without number plate, modified vehicle, without valid documents, without helmet, triple riding, no parking, without seatbelt, without uniform. The summon fee was deposited in the government treasury.

Bhatpachalana police station seized 01 accused with a total of 12 quarters of country plain liquor and registered the case. 191/24 Section 34(1), Police Station Mahidpur, arrested 01 accused while carrying liquor on domestic plane, on which Sr. 249/24 A case was registered under Section 49 (A) Excise Act and taken under investigation.

Police station Jeevjiganj registered a case under 127/24 Section 36B against the accused after he was found consuming liquor in a public place. A case was registered under the Excise Act.

During the checking of suspects/goons/history-sheeters/accused in District Badar, restrictive action was taken against total 05 non-applicants under Section 151, 40 non-applicants under Section 107, 116, and 01 non-applicant under Section 110.

01 permanent warrant, 40 arrest warrants and 72 bailable warrants were served by the city/rural police station.
