Doctors, medical students and staff of the medical college planted trees.
A tree plantation program was organized by planting about 500 saplings on 26th July 2024 under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign under the leadership of Medical Dean Dr. Deepak S Maravi in Medical College Datia. Mr. Sandeep Kumar Makin Collector Datia, Mr. Vikram Singh Bundela Senior Social Worker, and Dr. Tapish Chakma Senior Scientist, ICMR were invited as the chief guest in the program.
Medical Superintendent of the college Dr. Arjun Singh, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Sachin Yadav, Dr. Sameer Sathe, Dr. Shweta Yadav, Dr. Vivek Verma, Dr. Surendra Bauddh, Dr. Tribhuvan Singh, Dr. P Adhikari, Dr. Anil Mangeshkar, Dr. Abhishek Sharma, Dr. Abhishek Mehta, Dr. Amita Sharma, Dr. Amrita Chauhan, Dr. Manish Sachan, Dr. Mukesh Rajput, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dr. Mukesh Sharma and other officers, employees and students participated. The chief guests and the Dean who came to the program talked about the importance of plants in the environment. And appealed to the students to protect the plants planted by them.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Swati Srivastava and Dr. Ankit Tripathi in the program. At the end of the program, Dr. Kamal Kachhawa thanked all the chief guests, officers, employees and students for making the tree plantation program a success.
