Gwalior police is ready for the new criminal law to be implemented from July 01

Welcome the new law wholeheartedly and take action with sympathy towards the victim: SP Gwalior. Keeping in view the new Criminal Act-2023 going to be implemented from July 01, 2024, training was organized for gazetted officers of police and all station in-charges in the Police Control Room Auditorium Gwalior today under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh (Bapuse). On this occasion, the nodal officer of training, Additional Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Akhilesh Rainwal and Additional Superintendent of Police City (Central) Shri Gajendra Singh Vardhman along with gazetted officers and station in-charges of police were present. Information related to the new law was given in the training. During the training, the Superintendent of Police Gwalior told the police officers present that all the agencies are engaged at their own level to make the new law effective from July 01 and now it is the responsibility of all of us to effectively implement the new law. The new law is based on justice and the objective of the police is that the victim gets quick and easy justice through it.

In the training, the Superintendent of Police Gwalior informed the station in-charges posted in the police stations of the district about the changes made under the new procedures and instructed them to follow them from July 01, 2024. On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police Gwalior said that the station in-charge should himself take action on all the complainants coming to the police station on July 01, so that the general public does not face any kind of trouble and all of you should listen to the victims coming to the police station while treating them with sympathy. The new criminal law is going to be implemented from 01 July 2024, so on 01 July, women, youth, students, senior citizens, retired police officers, members of self-help groups, members of peace committees and other intellectuals will be invited to all the police stations of the district and made aware by giving information about the new laws and the general public, women and children should be made aware of the benefits of the new law.

The Superintendent of Police Gwalior told all the police officers present in the training that all of you must download the e-collection and e-evidence app in your respective mobiles. All officers should know how to enter photos / videos in the e-evidence app, for this all of you need to be proficient in the said work and information related to the new law should also be shared with other investigators. The new law will be successfully implemented with the cooperation of each other. During the training, an attempt was made to explain the changes made in the CCTNS application towards the implementation of the new law to the gazetted officers and station in-charges present through a popper point presentation. On this occasion, the police officers present were informed about the changes in the new law and its theoretical and practical aspects and a detailed discussion was held on Zero FIR and E-FIR.
