The successful conduct of the program “New law….. New provision, from punishment to speedy justice” organized by Crime Branch Indore.

• Information is given about the changes in the new law and the methodology to be adopted, effective from July 01.
• More than 150 people attended the program organized at Police Station Crime Branch, District Indore.
• Detailed discussion was done regarding the rights of the common man through the program.

To ensure the successful implementation of the laws and to benefit the general public from the new provisions in the laws, an event was organized at Police Station Crime Branch, District Indore, located at the mth compound, under the direction of Police Deputy Commissioner (Crime), Urban District Indore Hansraj Singh, in which Additional Police Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya, Assistant Police Commissioner Ajay Mishra, and Police Station Incharge Crime Branch told the citizens in detail about the new laws. In the program, the doubts of the people regarding the new laws were also resolved by the officers. A large number of common citizens including local people and High Court advocates Participated in the program and got detailed information about the three new laws, the Indian Justice Code (BNS), Indian Civil Defense Code (BNSS), and Indian Evidence Act (BSA) and understood their rights.

Some of the main ones are:-

(1). E-FIR (by email, WhatsApp, etc.)

(2). FIR on zero (facility of filing a report in any police station area)

(3). Police going to the place of choice of women, minors elderly people, etc., and recording the statement.
