A delegation of the Sikh community met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and asked for land for the community. Under the direction of National Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura, the Sikh community delegation led by State Advisor Gurdeep Singh Bhatia met Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at the Secretariat. They welcomed the Chief Minister with a shawl, coconut and flower bouquet. The delegation requested to provide two acres of land for the construction of a historic Gurudwara, inn and langar hall on the land found at the feet of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Omkareshwar. The Chief Minister also assured to provide the land.
The Sikh community delegation expressed its gratitude to him. Trilochan Singh, Amarjit Singh, Mani Singh Bhatia, Tejendra Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
