All this will happen under Amrit-2.0. Under this, various works will be done at a cost of about 6 crore 42 lakhs. In fact, due to the negligence of responsibility and the indifference of the common citizens, the Pampavati river, which once flowed with its full flow, has now turned into a drain. The dirty water of the entire city gets mixed in it, due to which the river water has become completely polluted.

Also, there is a foul smell in the area around the bank. In such a situation, Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria made special efforts to save the river. After which a large amount was sanctioned for the beautification of the Pampavati river in Amrit-2.0. What work will be done- A pipeline of about one km will be laid from the bank of the Pampavati river near the fair ground of the city. Through this, the dirty water coming from different areas of the city will be drained- By making a chamber below near the big culvert behind the college, the dirty water will be poured into it. Due to which the dirty water found in the river will be completely stopped.

The Pampavati river, which once flowed with a gurgling sound, is now a victim of misfortune and is searching for its existence. This river travels a distance of 32 km and first meets the Ladki river and then the Mahi river. The catchment area of ​​the river is about 47 thousand 487 hectares. The Pampavati river passes through 25 villages including the boundary of 10 gram panchayats and one municipal council. At one time, there was water in the river for 12 months. The ghats here also used to be populated by people. The water of this river is not used for drinking water but it is helpful in increasing the water level. As long as there is water in the river, the tube wells and hand pumps of the city remain recharged.

The scheme will be materialized as soon as possible-
The beautification and revival of the Pampavati River is the demand of the people of the entire area. The scheme has been approved for this. It will be implemented as soon as possible.
