Superintendent of Police Ujjain takes a strict stand to curb the activities of criminals.

• A meeting was held by the Superintendent of Police Ujjain in the Police Control Room to review the pending cases and to prevent crimes.
• All the gazetted officers and station in-charges of Ujjain city were present in the meeting.
• During the meeting, strict instructions were given to take action against those accused of cow slaughter and cow smuggling, gambling, betting, smack, and other narcotics.
• Officers/employees who were negligent and indifferent towards the instructions given by senior officers were suspended.

A meeting was held today on 22-08-24 in the Police Control Room Ujjain by the Superintendent of Police Ujjain to review the pending cases, quick resolution of crimes, curb the activities of anti-social elements and maintain law and order in the district. Additional Superintendent of Police of Ujjain city, gazetted officers, and police station in-charges were present in the said meeting. Keeping in view the upcoming festivals, the Superintendent of Police Ujjain gave instructions to maintain law and order peacefully during festivals, processions, celebrations, and other events.

The Superintendent of Police Ujjain has clearly instructed all the police station in-charges to take action against the criminals involved in gambling and betting in the city and completely ban gambling and betting in the city. If any complaint of gambling and betting is found in any police station area, strict punitive action should be taken against the concerned police station in charge, the beat in-charge, and employees. Along with this, instructions were given to completely curb the criminals selling narcotics in the city and to make the city drug-free.

All the officers were instructed to arrest the criminals involved in cow slaughter and transportation of cattle and take strict legal action against them. Police station in-charge Dewasgate Shri Kushal Singh Rawat was suspended for serious negligence and indifference towards duty by not taking action as per the instructions given earlier by the Superintendent of Police.

Similarly, on receiving a complaint that the police station in-charge Chimanganj had no control over his police station staff and that the station’s PR – Nitin Chauhan, Sunil Parmar, and Anand Mishra went out of the city without obtaining permission from the officers, the Superintendent of Police fined the police station in-charge Chimanganj Rs 10,000/- and suspended the concerned employees and issued a show cause notice.
