The Rotary Club family wonderfully celebrated Shiv Vivah and Teej at the prestigious Le Meridian Hotel in Delhi, which was a vibrant and memorable occasion. The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the guests through traditional sandalwood tilak and flower garlands. The event was hosted by anchor Sapna Data in a very wonderful way.
Rotary Club President 2024-25 Rajiv Mittal started the ceremony with an inspiring speech, followed by an attractive presentation of Shiv Vivah. The highlight of the event was a beautiful depiction of the marriage rituals between Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati, which included traditional rituals like applying haldi and mehndi. The ambiance was further enhanced with swings and other traditional decorations, creating a picturesque atmosphere in which all the guests danced and enjoyed a lot. All the women also applied mehendi on this auspicious occasion. The celebration concluded with a grand reception where the attendees enjoyed a sumptuous dinner. The event included a variety of refreshments including juices and starters. Gifts were also distributed to all the guests at the end.
This year’s celebration will be remembered for its unique concept and impeccable execution that reflects the Rotary Club’s commitment to cultural enrichment and community engagement.
