He provided good information on the arrival of rare coins in the market. The monthly meeting of the Indore Numismatic and Philatelic Society was held at the Coffee House located at Regal Square. Giving information, the organization’s president Ravindra Narayan Pehlwan said that in this program organized under the chairmanship of postal collector Ms. Richa Saxena, philatelist Suresh Bhagchandani presented postal material like postage stamps, covers, etc. related to the glorious history of the Indian Army. All the currency and postal collectors present in the program were given collectible gifts courtesy of Laxmikant Jain. First-day cover and old postal material issued in honor of the world’s first female Post Master General Dr. Sushila Chaurasia were also included in the gifts. Young currency scholar Prof. Shivam Chaturvedi gave a lecture on the history of counterfeit coins. Senior numismatist Major Gupta also threw light on coins.
