Police arrested the vicious miscreants who threw chilli in the eyes of a bullion trader and robbed a bag containing gold and silver jewelery and cash

Gwalior Pavan Paruthi 16.02.2024 – Under police station Mohana area, on 28.01.2024, bullion trader Rakesh Soni, resident of Dhakad Dharamshala, Mohana, took new old gold and silver jewelery and cash in a bag from his jewelers shop located near Radhakrishna Temple. When he was going to his home, two unknown miscreants riding a motorcycle near Parashar Wali Gali in Mohana threw chilli in his eyes and snatched the bag containing gold, silver and cash and ran away. Due to which, a case under IPC 14/24 Section 394 IPC and 11/13 MPDPK Act was registered against unknown miscreants in Mohana police station and taken up for investigation.

Taking the above robbery incident seriously, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHPUS, Superintendent of Police (East/Traffic/Crime) Gwalior Mr. Hrishikesh Meena, BHP and Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Mr. Gajendra Singh Vardhaman formed a team of Crime Branch and police station and were directed to identify and arrest the unknown robbers. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior, joint teams of Crime Branch and Mohana police station and Ghatigaon police were deployed to search for the accused.

Following the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of DSP Crime Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar and SDOP Ghatigaon Mr. Shekhar Dubey, Police Station Incharge Crime Branch Inspector Ajay Singh Panwar and Police Station Incharge Ghatigaon Inspector Prashant Sharma and Police Station Incharge Mohana Sub Inspector Devendra Lodhi. Joint teams of Mohana and Ghatigaon police were deployed to trace and arrest the unknown accused of robbery. Hundreds of CCTV footage from around the incident site were checked by the police team. On the basis of technical evidence and informer information received during the investigation, information was received on 16.02.2024 that the miscreants who committed the said robbery incident were seen near the bridge of Parvati river in an attempt to sell the looted goods. On the above information, joint police teams were sent to verify the informer’s information and arrest the miscreants. When the police teams reached the place indicated by the informer, four suspicious boys were seen hiding under the bridge. Who tried to run away after seeing the police team. All four suspects were surrounded and captured by police teams. On asking the names and addresses of the arrested miscreants, the first one identified himself as a resident of Shivhare Colony Mohana, the second as a resident of Water Tank Mohana, the third as a resident of Kushwaha Mohalla Mohana and the fourth as a resident of Dada Mohalla Mohana. When the arrested suspects were interrogated regarding the said robbery, they told that due to greed for money, all the people had planned the robbery with the bullion trader of Mohana and had committed the said robbery. The police team seized gold and silver jewelery and cash from the possession of the arrested accused and all four accused were duly arrested in the above mentioned case at Mohana police station. Among the arrested accused, the criminal living in Shivhare Colony is a vicious vehicle thief and has committed many incidents of vehicle theft in the past also. The arrested robbers are being interrogated in detail regarding other incidents of robbery in the district and the motorcycle used in the said robbery.

Seized Mashrooka:- Looted Mashrooka, gold jewelery weighing 40 grams, silver jewelery weighing 2190 grams and cash 12 thousand, total valuable Mashrooka was Rs 03 lakh 50 thousand.

Devidas, constable constable Rohit Shivhare, Thansingh, Amit Shakya, Manish Tiwari, Ravi Yadav, R. Driver Sanjay Rawat police station Ghatigaon team – P.R. Anil Gupta, Lokesh Jat, Ajay Yadav, R Driver Akash Yadav, Police Station Aaron Team- P.R. Ramvaran Lodhi, Sonu Prajapati (Cyber Cell) had a commendable role.
