One day workshop on Virtual Lab was organized at Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior. This workshop was organized on 03.08.2024 in the premises of the institute itself. The main objective of this workshop was to teach the students and teachers of the institute how web resources can be used through virtual labs and to develop the laboratory skills of the students.
Director of the Institute Dr. Nishant Joshi said that through virtual lab, the students of our institute can overcome all the obstacles in this field by using simulation e-learning tools and he said that today is the time of digitalization, due to which the student has golden opportunities to improve his professional life. Co-director of the Institute Dr. Tarika Singh Sikarwar said that students can learn more efficiently and at a lower cost by using simulation e-learning tools and the internet used in virtual labs and she said that different types of computer labs have been arranged in our institute so that students can mature themselves in the field of IT.

The first resource person of this workshop, Mr. Chandan Kumar, Senior Executive Engineer, IIT Delhi, told the students in detail about the use of virtual lab and through one-to-one communication with the students, diagnosed many problems through simulation e-learning tools and shared with the students the schemes of the Government of India supported by virtual lab and he also told that virtual lab has also been included in the new National Education Policy. The second resource person of this workshop, Mr. Shivam Yadav, Executive Trainer, IIT, Delhi explained to all the students present how to use the virtual lab through a demo and he told them that if they use the virtual lab in their day-to-day routine, then it enables you to do experiments which will never cause you any difficulty in your life. This workshop was organized by IIT Delhi in which more than 100 students of BCA and MCA courses of the institute and more than 50 teachers were present.
The coordinator of this workshop was Dr. Krishnakant Yadav and the co-professor was Palash Sharma. Kavita Makhwane, Tanya Mathur, Bharti Gole, Shruti Dubey, Mahendra Yadav, Ram Paliwal, Vaibhav Srivastava and Dr. Mamta Sharma from the IT department were present.
