On the instructions of the Mayor and Commissioner, action is being taken to ease traffic. Corporation Removal Department removed 250 sheds, kiosks, 150 pots and boundary walls obstructing traffic on Khajrana Main Road

Indore Geetkar Damodar Virmal 22 February 2024. Under the direction of Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava and Commissioner Mrs. Harshika Singh, Revenue In-charge Shri Niranjan Singh Chauhan, with a view to make Indore number one in cleanliness as well as traffic management, illegal constructions were done on footpaths and roadsides in various markets and major parts of the city. Action is being taken to remove it.

Recently, under the direction of Mayor Mr. Bhargava, Commissioner Mrs. Singh and Revenue In-charge Mr. Chauhan, the Corporation Removal Department had given instructions to the traders keeping and selling the goods from the shops on the footpath and roadside in Khajrana area, but after this. Also, removal action was taken in Khajrana area when shopkeepers were not removing illegal constructions that were obstructing traffic. Revenue in-charge Shri Niranjan Singh Chauhan reached the spot and guidelines were also given.

With a view to ease the traffic, the Corporation Removal Department has removed 250 sheds and kiosks, 150 sheds and 12 stalls on the main road of Khajrana via Khazana Dargah from Star Square to remove encroachments on the sidewalks and sets outside the shops. Action was taken to remove encroachments including boundary wall and other encroachments through 8 JCB machines, 7 removal teams and police force. Assistant Removal Officer Shri Bablu Kalyane, Regional Building Officer, Building Inspector, a large number of removal staff and police force were present during the proceedings.
