According to Ms. Bhuria, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said in his address after the budget that defense exports are at a record level. Calls have been made to make the defense sector self-reliant. New possibilities have been created in the field of tourism in India. Special emphasis has also been given to the tourism sector in this budget. In the last 10 years, the NDA government has ensured that the middle and poor classes get tax relief. Increasing the standard deduction exemption will lead to additional savings for taxpayers. Ms. Bhuria said that the provision of Rs 3 lakh crore for women and girls in this budget is a significant step towards women’s empowerment. Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has made a provision of Rs 3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and girls in the budget and special attention has been given to women and students in the budget. A provision in the budget for setting up working women hostels and crèches with the cooperation of the industry will also achieve significant success in the direction of employment. He said that the model skill loan scheme will be revised to provide a loan facility of up to Rs 7.5 lakh with the guarantee of enhanced funds from the Central Government.

This measure is expected to help 25 thousand students every year. Apart from this, e-vouchers will be given directly to 1 lakh students every year for a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh for higher education in domestic institutions for a three percent annual interest rebate on the loan amount. It has been mentioned in this interim budget, that we need to focus on 4 different castes, poor, women, youth and farmers. He said that for the farmers in this budget of the Central Government, the Central Government has announced a higher minimum support price for all major crops, which fulfills the promise of at least a 50 percent margin over the cost. In the budget, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana was extended for 5 years, which has benefited more than 80 crore people. India’s inflation remains low and stable and is moving towards the target of 4 percent. Ms. Bhuria said that the first general budget of the third term of PM Narendra Modi has been presented. As per the provisions of this budget, the cost of cancer treatment will now decrease. Mobile phones and chargers will also become cheaper. This has given a big relief to cancer patients in their treatment. Custom duty has been reduced on medicines and equipment used in medical treatment of cancer-related diseases. This will make cancer treatment cheaper.

The Finance Minister has also given a big gift to women. She has reduced the custom duty on gold and silver to 6%. This will make the jewelry made of gold and silver cheaper. This will be a big relief for jewelry lovers because the prices of gold and silver are constantly increasing. Along with this, the Finance Minister has also reduced the tax on mobile phones, mobile chargers, electric wires, X-ray machines and solar sets. Along with leather products, the price of lobsters will also decrease. Ms. Bhuria welcomed this budget of the Modi government at the Centre and called it a symbol of the progress of the country.
