New initiative of Ujjain district administration and police administration for the convenience of passengers.

Inaugurated three pre-paid booths in Ujjain to curb arbitrary fares from passengers.

Gulshan Paruthi | Ujjain | For the convenience of the passengers, Ujjain Police Administration and District Administration inaugurated the Ujjain Prepaid Booth as per the fixed fee, first near Mahakal Temple/Mahakal Police Station, second outside the Railway Station and third near the Goods Warehouse, through which auto rickshaw/e rickshaw drivers can pay the fare. Only reasonable fare should be charged from passengers, traffic police personnel will be deployed at the pre-pad booth to collect receipts. Passengers will have to book from here.

The fare list has been posted at the prepaid booth itself. The fixed fare fee receipt will be given to the passengers after collecting it. When the passenger reaches his destination, he will give the receipt to the auto/e rickshaw driver so that after the auto/e rickshaw drivers deposit it at the counter. Payment will be made. The fare for battery operated e-rickshaw vehicle will be Rs 10/- per person for the first 3 kilometers and Rs 20/- per person for more than 3 kilometers. Also, the rate list of the fixed fee for auto vehicles has been pasted at the main place of the city Has been.

If auto/e rickshaw drivers are found without receipt, challan action will be taken against them. After the inauguration of the pre-paid booth, Superintendent of Police Ujjain Shri Pradeep Sharma issued the first ticket and directed to soon launch pre-paid booths at major places in the future. On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Jayant Singh Rathore, Inspector Traffic Mr. Dilip Singh Parihar, President Auto Rickshaw Association Mr. Nand Kishore Solanki and auto drivers were present. Auto Rickshaw Operators Association expressed full support for this initiative of Police Administration/District Administration by welcoming Ujjain Collector Mr. Neeraj Singh and Ujjain SP Mr. Pradeep Sharma with a bouquet and shower of flowers.
