National Lok Adalat on 11 May Cases will be heard before 73 benches.

Gulshan Paruthi | Gwalior | As per the guidelines of Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, the second National Lok Adalat of the year 2024 will be held on Saturday, 11th May in the Civil Court including District Court, Dabra and Bhitarwar under the guidance of Principal District Judge Mr. PC Gupta. Criminal cases pending in the court in the said National Lok Adalat, check bounce cases under section 138 of the Negotiable Act, bank recovery related cases, MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) cases, matrimonial cases, labor disputes, land acquisition. Matters related to electricity and water tax, bill related matters (except theft cases), service matters related to retirement benefits. Hearing before 73 division benches to resolve the compoundable cases like revenue cases (pending in District Court and High Courts), civil cases and bank recovery, 138 NIACT, water tax and electricity related pre-litigation on the basis of mutual agreement. Of the total 73 division benches, 56 in District Court, 03 in Family Court, 02 in Labor Court, 01 in Railway Court, 01 in District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, 08 in Civil Court Dabra and 02 division benches in Civil Court Bhitarwar will hear the cases Will do.

Giving information, District Judge, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Gwalior, Ashish Dawande said that the pre-litigation cases of banks will be resolved in the bank branches and the pre-litigation cases of Municipal Corporation will be resolved in the respective bars. District Legal Services Authority, Gwalior will appeal to the parties. They should avail the benefit of exemption provided for the National Lok Adalat to be held on 11th May by getting their resignable pending or pre-litigation cases resolved on the basis of resignation through mutual agreement through the said National Lok Adalat.
