A tree plantation program was organized at Shivkund Dham in Jhabua Petlawad in which Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria planted a tree under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. At the beginning of this program, Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria and Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer Petlawad Anil Rathore and other public representatives reached Shivkund and performed puja.

After that, all the public representatives present in the hospitality of Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, all the Sarpanchs from the nearby Panchayats, all the block level officers-employees and women and villagers took out a large-scale environmental rally in the form of a message of tree plantation with drums.

Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria planted a tree under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” at the rally’s concluding point, Shivkund Hill. Chief Executive Officer Jitendra Singh Chauhan and Sectional Officer Revenue Anil Rathore also planted trees. After the tree plantation, the program Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam was inaugurated by the Cabinet Minister and other guests by lighting a lamp on the picture of Maa Saraswati. The Cabinet Minister and the guests on the stage were welcomed by the Sarpanch of Bekalda Gram Panchayat by presenting a flower bouquet. Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Jitendra Singh Chauhan appealed to all the villagers present in his address that they should compulsorily plant a tree in the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign and also take care of it.

The Chief Guest of the program, Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, in her address said that Shivkund Dham is a sacred religious and faith place. Now it needs to be transformed into a good form. All those who rule and have faith, live on the hill of Shivkund Dham. With the participation of the general public, as many trees as possible should be planted and cared for so that the Shivkund Dham site can be covered with lush green trees and transformed into a beautiful form. On the demand of local people, he assured necessary cooperation in the development of Shivkund Dham and appealed to the Sarpanch and other public representatives of all the Panchayats and villagers present in the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign that every family in their village should compulsorily plant a tree in their house or the farmers engaged in farming should plant a tree on the boundary of their field so that this campaign of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav can be made successful with public participation.
