Rachna Budholia, District Program Officer of the Women and Child Development Department, has been caught red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 by the team of Sagar Lokayukta.
A complaint was lodged with Sagar Lokayukta by Neha Yadav, a supervisor working in the department, in which it was told that the District Program Officer is demanding Rs 10,000 in lieu of extending her contract along with withdrawing her salary during her stay on medical. . In this, Rs 5,000 was given in advance, and its recording was also saved in the tape recorder of Lokayukta.
After this, it was decided to give Rs 5,000 as a second installment on January 2. The Lokayukta team caught the program officer as soon as he took Rs 5,000 as a bribe to his residence located in front of the jail. After this, the department team took the necessary action on the spot. Till the time of writing the news, the action is still going on.
