Students were given information about child-friendly legal provisions.
Under the direction of Principal District Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority Gwalior Mr. PC Gupta and guidance of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Mr. Ashish Dwande, a legal literacy camp was organized in Government Jiwaji Rao Boys Higher Secondary School, Jayendraganj and students were given information about child-friendly legal provisions. In the legal literacy camp, Civil Judge Senior Division Mr. Mohit Parsai gave detailed information to the students about the fundamental rights and fundamental duties mentioned in the Constitution and while giving information about traffic discipline in the Motor Vehicle Act, also made them aware of the following traffic rules, using helmet and seat belt, not driving after drinking alcohol, keeping vehicle documents with them, etc.



In the program, Junior Judicial Judge, Mr. Atul Yadav, while giving information about Juvenile Justice, Care and Protection of Children Act 2015, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012, NDPS Act, drug addiction, etc., also made the students aware of the legal provisions regarding children involved in legal disputes and under care and protection, and the protection of children from sexual offenses, protection of their mental and physical condition and the provision of strict punishment to the criminals. District Legal Aid Officer Mr. Deepak Sharma informed the children about NALSA Friendly Legal Services and their Protection Scheme 2015, free legal aid, good touch and bad touch and cybercrime.
The programme was conducted by the school teacher Mr. Ajay Khare and the vote of thanks was given by the school Principal Mr. Virendra Kumar Nigam. On this occasion, teachers Mrs. Rajni Soni, Rekha Sharma, Mr. Santosh Verma, Dev Krishna Sikarwar from District Legal Services Authority and other teachers, staff and students of the school were present. After the program, the judges and teachers also planted saplings on the school premises.
