Bureau Chief Gulshan Paruthi Indore: In order to conduct the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 in a fair and smooth manner, effective action is being taken by the police administration under the guidance of senior officers to follow the code of conduct. Under which FST and SST teams have been deployed. In this context, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone – 01 Urban Indore Shri Vinod Meena has directed FST and SST teams for effective checking. In pursuance of the above instructions, effective checking is being done by Police Station In-charge Tejaji Nagar and his team under the guidance of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-01 Mr. Alok Kumar Sharma and Assistant Police Commissioner Section Azad Nagar Mr. Ashish Patel.
In this series, during combing patrol at 01.00 am on the intervening night of 23 and 24.03.2024, a Maharashtra passing Fortuner train MH28BQ0077 was stopped for checking at SST checking point Umrikhedi. On checking the vehicle, Rs 1 lakh 97 thousand 500 was found inside the suitcase in the trunk of the vehicle, in respect of which the said amount was confiscated by SST Checking Point in-charge Magistrate Akash Shivhare as no legal documents and information were provided. The owner of the vehicle, Sachin Vijay Jadhav, resident of Buldhana, Maharashtra, was going from Maharashtra to Ujjain by vehicle. Inquiries and investigation are being done regarding the cash amount being carried by them, on the basis of which further legal action is being taken.
In the above proceedings, SST checking point in-charge Executive Magistrate Akash Shivhare and police station in-charge Tejaji Nagar Karandeep Singh (I.P.S.), Soumi Dwarka Prasad, Sauni Lakhan Singh Rawat, R. 4126 Anuj, R. 3187 Anil’s role was commendable.

★ Police Station Tejaji Nagar and S.S.T. In a joint operation, cash worth about Rs 2 lakh (197500/-) being carried illegally was seized.
★ The said amount was being transported in a Fortuner vehicle going from Maharashtra to Ujjain without any legal documents.
★ Investigation and inquiry is being done in relation to the huge amount of cash being carried, on the basis of which legal action is being taken.
