The state budget was presented on Wednesday.

The government has talked about opening Medical Colleges in Neemuch, Mandsaur and Seoni this year, but Jhabua’s name is not on the list. However, the Women and Child Development Department has received a good budget. The budget has been released for the nutrition diet, Saksham Anganwadi including Ladli Behna Yojana.

Cabinet Minister Nirmala Bhuria has called this budget a proletarian budget.

She said this budget will speed up development in the state. Bhuria said the interests of all sections including the poor, women, youth and farmers have been kept in mind in the budget. Ladli Behna Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, security of children’s nutrition, upgradation of Anganwadis, construction of new Anganwadi buildings, a new work plan for the safety and self-reliance of women and girls, increase in gender budget, budget providing strength and respect to women power. 11 thousand teachers will be recruited. No burden of new tax has been increased on the people of the state.

A provision of Rs 18984 crore has been made for Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, 3469 for Anganwadi Services (Saksham Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0), 1231 crore for Ladli Laxmi Yojana, 1167 crore in Special Nutrition Diet Scheme, 423 crore for Women and Child Welfare Directorate. There is a provision of 350 crore for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. In the budget, a provision of 200 crores has been made for Poshan Abhiyan (NNM) (Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0), 150 crores for building construction for Anganwadi centers, 130 crores for Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) (Mission Vatsalya) and 110 crores for Non Institutional Care Sponsorship, Foster.

Money kept for these works in the budget

Reconstruction of 1 no. HPC and 2 nos. minor bridge on the remaining part of Mahu-Neemuch road from Javra and Ringnod Kalalia to SH-31 (four lane) Lebad Nasirabad road, cost Rs. 182 lakhs. Reconstruction of 2 nos. HPC and 2 nos. minor bridge in Namli, the remaining part of Dantodiya access road, Mahu Neemuch four-lane and construction of retaining wall of 100-meter length on Sejavata to Bangrod road, cost Rs. 202 lakhs

  • Dharad to Badnara Phanta road 5.80 km cost Rs. 399 lakhs.
  • Mhow-Neemuch four-lane to Ghatala access road 2.90 km cost Rs. 222 lakhs
  • Shivpur to Naugawan Railway Station road 4.80 km cost Rs. 430 lakhs.

The budget was good for medical college

A provision of Rs 631 crore has been made for Ratlam, Datia, Shivpuri and Satna Medical Colleges of the state.

It has not been clarified how much amount Ratlam Medical College will get. Medical College Dean Dr. Anita Mutha said how much amount the college has received in the budget. There is no information about this yet and no information has been received from Bhopal. Neither any new tax has been imposed in the budget nor the rate has been increased. Former Chairman of the Tax Advisory Council Rakesh Bhatewara said that no new tax or increase in tax rate has been proposed in the budget. This has not increased the burden on the public. At the same time, a single citizen database scheme has been proposed. On its implementation, documents will not be asked repeatedly for government services. A database of citizens will be prepared for this scheme. At the same time, registration will be done from home through the registration portal from Sampada 2.0. The public will also benefit from this.

VD Sharma said-

This budget is an example of the efficient management of the Mohan government. BJP State President VD Sharma said that this budget of Rs 3.65 lakh crore is the biggest and historic budget till date.

This budget presented by the Mohan government is an example of efficient economic management.

There is also a provision for the Ken-Betwa Link Project in the budget.

Vijayvargiya’s Claim-

All the cities of Madhya Pradesh will be transformed with this budget. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that all the cities of our state will be transformed with this budget. Provision has been made to start Indore-Bhopal Metro Rail facilities soon. There is a provision of Rs 16744 crore for urban development.

The state government has approved sufficient funds for basic facilities and development of the area in the investment sector.
