International Labor Day was organized at Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior.

Gulshan Paruthi | Gwalior | International Labor Day was organized on 01 May 2024 at Prestige Management and Research Institute, Gwalior. The main objective of which was to praise the hard work and efforts of the workers of the institute and to make the workers dedicated towards their work.

Director of the institute, Dr. Nishant Joshi said that Labor Day is an important occasion which celebrates the invaluable contributions of the labor movement and the achievements of workers around the world. It started at the end of the 10th century. Apart from its historical significance, Labor Day also serves as a moment for reflection on labor issues and the need for continued advocacy for workers’ rights. It is a day to recognize and appreciate the contribution of the workforce in pursuing progress and prosperity.

Dr. Tarika Singh Sikarwar, Co-Director of the Institute, said that labor is the backbone of commerce, which plays an important role in advancing productivity, innovation and economic development. Labor not only makes its fundamental contribution to production, but it also represents human capital, which gives rise to skill, expertise and creativity and labor always drives an efficient and motivated expansion, efficiency and technological advance, and keeps industries moving forward. Helps in increasing.

During this program, all the workers of the institute were present, out of which Ashok Batham was given the award amount of Rs 3100 for the best employee and food packets were distributed to all the present workers. Apart from this, many games were organized in the premises of the institute to encourage the workers on Labor Day.
